Summary
The Jamaica Public Service Company wanted something exciting to boost its presence at the 2008 JMA JEA Expo - one of the largest annual trade show for Jamaican companies. With BrandProfit's help, it was able to offer an interactive lesson in energy management.
Challenge
The challenge presented to the BrandProfit team was to develop an online interactive energy use display that would be hosted on the JPSCo website. It would feature a clickable illustration of a home, an energy calculator and tips for energy conservation. We had two weeks to deliver.
Approach
With multimedia designers and head programmer working overtime, the layout of the entire house was first submitted for client approval. After getting the go-ahead on this, it was full speed ahead with designing and programming for individual rooms and their attached energy calculators.
Results
With its interactive e-Home, online billing feature and lit signs, JPSCo captured the Expo's award for the best use of technology.
